Thank God, for Giving Me Everything

        I started to love the name ‘Thanksgiving’ when I first heard of it. No matter how independent we are, we can never live without others’ help. Parents bring us to the world, teachers give us education, and friends give us care and encouragement which give us faith and strength. We have received so much help from others, and now it’s time of the year to say thanks to them for doing this.

       The first two people I would like to say thanks must be my parents. I am so lucky that my parents bring me to the world. There are so many people in the world. The chance for my parents to meet each other is lower than winning a lottery, the chance for them to get married and give birth to me is even lower. But I am that lucky, I am able to live to see the beautiful world, and I am able to live happily.

        I appreciate my healthy body as well. I didn’t die when I was a baby, and I was not born with disease or broken body parts. I can do whatever I like and go wherever I want with a healthy body. I seldom go to hospitals and seldom absent from school because of health problems.

        I don’t know what life will be like without friends. I want say thanks to one of my friends in China. There is always something that it’s hard to talk to the people around you, but I can always find a person to talk with. We have a time difference of 13 hours, but this is not a problem for us at all. We are on different sides of the world, but we both know that we have taken, and we will continue taking parts in each other’s life. My friends in America also give me a lot of support, thank you guys so much, and I love you all.^0^

        This one is a little awkward. I would like to say thank you to the boy I like and to all the boys that I had liked (Don’t be scared, only a few) in my life. I work so hard in order to make myself a great person. Thank you for giving me another reason to go to school.

        Life itself is thankworthy. I am born happily. I have friends with me, and I work hard everyday to reach my goals. I have eyes to see the beauty of the world, I have ears to listen to the encouragement from my family and friends, I have arms to hug, I have heart to feel, and I have dreams to live for. Thank God, for giving me everything.

My goals for this year

  People live because hope and goals. I really love the picture that Mrs.B post for this blog. We try our best to reach our goals, and we hug each other, cheer feel happy when we reach our goals. But we still have to move on immediately because life never stops.
  My first wish for this year is to make all my grades higher than ninety. I am not that kind of person who over-focus on his scores (that's why I didn't say ninety-five). But I still want a good grade to please my parents, my teachers and all the ones that I love, I will feel bad if I disappoint them. Besides, I will have time to do other things and reach other goals if I got a satisfying grade.
  My second goal is to squeeze more time to talk to my family. I sometimes forget them when I am busy. I am the only child in my family so I will try my best to make my parents happy. They love me a lot and give me a lot of support. There is no reason for me to hurt their feelings.
 The third goal is the goal I have been thinking for my whole fifteen years' life though I will become sixteen in less than ten days.So it is a birthday wish as well:). I am going to find a boy which is special and make him my boyfriend. High school life will never be perfect without a romantic experience. This sounds more like a wish rather than a goal. Anyway, I am ready for Mr.Right but I am still comfortable with single life.
 Men are goal seeking animals. We will never stop reaching goals until we die.

The most creepy story ever!!!(How the Jack-o-Lantern Got Its Smile :))

          Once upon a time,there was a creepy town called Pumpkin's town.This town was called Pumpkin's town because there were a lot of pumpkins.Pumpkin's town used to be a nice place, there lived Amber and her friends, they used to go to school together, eat together, talked about boys, and lived a happy life like everyone girl at their age.

    But one day,things changed.Amber disappeared suddenly.And after Amber disappeared, all the people she had talked to disappeared the same way as Amber did except one, Corrina.Corrina was so scared because she didn't know when she would disappear.It was Halloween's night, no one was in the town except Corrina.She went to downtown, there stood a statue of Jack-o-Lantern.There used to be a lot of people, but this year, no one would be able to play trick or treat.She saw a girl with long hair coming her way,Corrina was freaked out but she could not move her legs.The girl got closer and said:"Don't be afraid,sweetie.My name is Lily.I won't hurt you.I used to be the owner of this town because I really like pumpkins (To be honest,I don't...I just want my story to be fun:)),but stupid Amber ate all my pumpkins !!!!I  feel really upset so I caught her and feed her peppers everyday because she told me that she hate peppers.Listen,if you can make me smile before midnight, I can make Amber and the others back.If you can't,I will make you eat peppers,too.""I will try my best."Corrina said.She really didn't want eat peppers everyday.

     "How can I make you smile?"(You can draw her a little card....Fine,It's not my oration...)Corrina thought,"Pumpkins,that creepy girl said she likes pumpkins."Corrina got an brilliant idea.She rushed to the nearest town,Bell Buckle.She need pumpkins!There she met students from a school called The Webb School and got help from the students there.Corrina and the students spent their whole night making pumpkin pies.Finally they made hundreds of pumpkin pies by 11:59.But Corrina only got one minute,she must go back by midnight!At this moment, a guy called Alston came to Corrina and said,"You know what, actually I am a wizard,I can take you there right now."

     Corrina returned town in time and she put all the pumpkin pies they had made that night under the statue of the Lantern.Miracle happened!Amber and the others came back!The Lantern finally smiled, and the most important thing was,Amber said that she would never eat pumpkins again.(THE END XD)

My time capsule

   

    
Capsule is a brilliant idea! When people find them a thousand years later,they will be able to find out what our life looks like and it is a good way to scare our descendants if we put scary things in it.

     The first thing I would like to put is money. (Though I want to keep the money myself...). Money might be quite different thousands years later.Maybe they won’t know that’s money. Our descendants might wonder who is that guy printed on that paper.

     And then,photos of big cities like New York,Paris,Shanghai,etc.Because the sea level is rising and these cities may not exist anymore.It is a good way for people to know these cities did exist. And some curious people might do some researches and they finally become Nobel winners because of us.(That sounds awesome)

  Third,(Get ready,this is a gross one :))coach roaches.I hope they are still alive when people find them.And I also hope they can reproduce and breed thousands of baby coach roaches.When our descendants open the capsule,thousands of coach roaches rushed out and run everywhere.I would like to see the twisted face of the people who find it...(I know I am a little twisted)

      Anyway,time capsule is a good way to remember our lives.Maybe we can bury one now,put our goals and dreams in it and open it ten years later

Would you like to have a bite of my detergent-flavor ice-cream

An average American eats 15 quarts of ice cream a year?No wonder the Americans are fat...I am an ice cream lover myself but I never eat that much(Maybe?).Anyway,Ice cream is the symbol of the summer (though some crazy people eat ice cream in winters) and people of all ages love them.
 People have been eating ice creams for thousands of years.I have been eating ice creams for 15 years and I am tired of traditional flavors like strawberry,chocolate,green tea,etc.Ice cream companies keep making new flavors but these flavors can’t satisfy crazy ice cream lovers.Most flavors are from food like banana,chocolate,strawberry and cookies.That’s ridiculous!Why don’t you just eat banana,chocolate and cookies?I am sure you want to try something new------like detergent flavor. 

People use detergents everyday but they hardly have the chance to taste them.Here is the chance!!Maybe we can add some medicines in the detergent flavor ice cream,then the ice creams become stomach detergent and they may good to people’s health.

work as a journalist

When I was three or four years old, my biggest wish was to become a scientist or a doctor and I amazedly found out that most children in my class would like to become a scientist or a doctor as well. We even don’t know what science is and we were easily got scared at that age but we just think It’s cool to become scientists or doctors.

    Things change from time to time. I am no longer interested in scientists and doctors any more.I started to like talking to people and observing people on my way school.I like the way people talking about their lives.

I started thinking about becoming a journalist after I was accidentally chosen to be a member of a teenager journalist club.I used to be shy and was afraid to talk to others.Once it was my turn to interview a woman who worked as a volunteer for the 2010 expo,I came to her and cannot speak a entire word.But she is so kind that she told me don’t be nervous and I know you can.I was encouraged a lot by that. It is no doubt that it was my first step to speak out what I am thinking about.

 My friends think journalist is a dangerous job but I think I will enjoy it.I will use my pen and my camera to tell the truth to everyone.

What about me>so this is Lily

It is no doubt that every human has his own feelings and emotions.Even Gods has their enjoyments and detests(...sophomores are reading Iliad now).There is still much I have not been,much I have not seen,I am still curious like a child and I love most of the things around me,my school,my dorm,my pencils and the calculator I use everyday.I love my life and the faces dear to

 me,I like travel very much. I often go traveling. I meet a lot of people on my way. All the people I met were very clever and kind. Everyone tells me their story.Last time I wrote a traveler’s story in my paper and Mrs B gave me 18 out of twenty.

I am afraid of losing important things though I always lost them. Do you think I will tell you that I can’t find my dorm key?(OMG I have already told you).I may get a new key if I lost it but I will get nothing if I lost the passion of life.Actually I had lost the passion of life for a while but I am so glad that I find it back.I wish I will never lost the passion of life again because I am so afraid to lost them and I wish I can stay optimism as I do now in the future.

Love and hate,lost and find made up our lives and make us who we are.So this is Lily.
